Our school
We attend Dante Alighieri School in V. Pacchiotti 80
Turin.Our headmistress is S. Paterlino, she has got brown curly hair; every
day at 7.30 she comes to school by car, she is good.
Our school is very nice and big, we go to school from Monday to Friday;
school starts at 7.55 a.m. and it usually ends at 1.25 p.m.; each morning
we have two breaks, but they aren’t very long, they only last ten minutes;we
usually have a snack during break.
On Tuesday we go back home at 5 p.m. and on Friday school finishes at 4
p.m..
When we have lessons in the afternoon, we can eat in the school canteen,
at each table there is a teacher who takes care of the students,there is
quite a mess and the food isn’t very good.After lunch we go out for break
and we can play in the school yard (if it rains we stay in the school gymn)
but at 2.15 p.m. we come back to class for the lessons.
Our school gives us lots of opportunities: from drama to volleyball, from
photography to orienteering.We can play an instrument with the music teacher
and we have computer lessons with the thecnichal education’s teacher.
In the gymn we can play hit-ball, volley-ball and basket-ball.Of course
we have some rules too, these are the most important:
we mustn’t do a mess during the lessons,we mustn’t be late, we must be polite
to teachers and schoolmates,we cannot run in the corridors, we also can’
t go downstairs during breaktime, we cannot eat in the classroom or chew
chewingums, we mustn’t use our mobile phones, and we must do our homework.
We have quite a lot of homework everyday, some teachers are terrible for
the homework, some others aren’t.some students stay at school in the afternoon
and do their homework here.

W e live in Tourin and
we attend Dante Alighieri School in Via Pacchiotti 80.
We usually go to school at 7.55 and we go back home at 13.25, but on Tuesday
we go home at 5 p.m. and on Friday we stay at school till 4 p.m..
In my school trere are lots of teachers and we have a lot of subjects:
La scala teaches Italian, literature, geography and history, Giovine teaches
French and Broccardo teaches English.We learn T.E. with Gaudino, Art with
Antonaci and Music with Codognotto; Falchi is our R.E.’s teacher and Navarra
is our Maths and Science teacher but with her we can also learn computer
studies; on the computer we can work on Excel and on Pawer Point.
Giaiminietti teaches us P.E., in the gymn we can practise some sports: basketball,
hitball and volleyball.
S. Paterlino is our headmistress.
At lunch time we can go home or eat at school; lots of us have lunch break
in the canteen and after that we can play in the school yard.
We have got lots of opportunities, we also have lots of rules, these our
main rules:
we must attend the school regularly, we must respect our school mates, teachers
and schoolporters, we mustn’t run in the corridors, talk in class or eat
during the lessons, we mustn’t eat chewing gums, we mustn’t be late and
we must do our homework.
Every day we usually have a lot of homework to do, but they aren’t very
difficult.
